Clan Territory and Border Towers

We have asked Unique Maps Co to research and produce an old style map of what was the Clan Territory with the known locations of the Irving Border Towers shown.

Bonshaw Tower – the ancient seat of the Chiefs of the Clan, Robgill Tower, Woodhouse, Wysebie, Stapleton and Cove were the principal strongholds of the Clan to which should be added many other places of smaller importance – Brotts, Beltenment, Dronnock Wood, Skaills, Graitney Hill – all close to the Border with the auld enemy – England.
