Clan

A Clan is more than a name upon a page,
More than a tartan worn with pride.
It is the living thread that binds The past,
the present, and those yet to come.

 
It is the voices of our ancestors, family one and all
Whispering courage into every generation.
It is honor carried, not inherited;
A legacy earned by how we live.

 
A Clan is kin by blood,
Family by choice,
And brothers and sisters united
By loyalty, duty, and remembrance.

 
When I speak our Clan’s name,
I carry the hopes of those who came before me
And the responsibility to leave it
Stronger than I received it.

 
For to me, a Scottish Clan is not merely history—
It is identity.
It is belonging.
It is a promise
That the flame of our forebears
Will never be allowed to fade away.
